Each container must have a HI-5 label. If the label falls off, it can be placed inside of the container.
All HI-5 beverage containers must be emptied of liquid and debris.
The transaction moves quickly if your HI-5 is separated upon arrival to our facilities. Please separate by type: cans, glass, plastic, bimetal.
The State of Hawaii allows customers to request hand counts up to 200 containers.

The State of Hawaii HI5 Program requires all bottle caps to be removed from your beverage containers. Please dispose of them before bringing in your recyclables.
Our scales are certified by a licensed Measuremaster throught the State of Hawaii. The scale readouts are always visible to customers so you can confirm the weights. You can trust that what you see on the scales is what you are paid for.
These containers can be as large as 68 fluid ounces per State of Hawaii regulations.
